Great food & service. Diverse customer base. Felt comfortable with pre-teen kids alongside couples & groups on NYE. Everything from miso soup, vegetable ramen, Foxy Roxy & mac n cheese was flavorful. One of the best lemon drop martinis I've had in years. Heard the restaurant was a crowd fav & it didn't disappoint!

Spicy edamame are a must anytime and delicious sushi. The servers are all super friendly.

Huge Rolls!!!!! Easily over-ordered as first timers. Highly recommend. Volcano roll was the best I've ever had. Food presentation on point Clean friendly establishment

This restaurant is very nice! It's new, clean, and trendy. The servers were all great. Friendly and patient, i had a large group with me. The food was perfect. I told my wife about the sushi and I have to be honest, it was better than our favorite place in the Romeoville area. Now she is looking forward to the drive to Ottawa just to try it herself. I will definitely take her. You all should stop and try it too!

Not much in these smaller Illinois towns and I was skeptical about sushi + burgers, but both were surprisingly delicious! Also, the ambiance is very lively and hip (God I'm old). Definitely recommend.

Very instagramy space, but well done, not cheap looking. Food was great, I only tried the sushi, rolls were huge. They had mocktails with an option to add liquor, which helps them be more inclusive. Burger sushi combo makes it easy to satisfy everyone. Service was friendly.

Bash is one of the nicer restaurants located in the Illinois Valley. It's a beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating & their food is great. Good place for a date or an outing with family and friends (they do not take reservations). The only downside of bash is the service. Almost every time I've eaten here, the timing of the drinks/food/general service was weird. I've always had to flag down our waitress for more drinks or to just order. Again, the food is great so I would still recommend, but service may be hit or miss. For parking, I believe they have a small parking lot, but there is a lot of street parking available around the block as well.

While visiting Ottawa we found this spot thanks to Yelp. Sounded interesting and since I like sushi and my boyfriend doesn't, seemed like a place we could agree on! It's a beautiful space and feels like a date spot. Didn't see too many kids even though it was only about 5pm on a Saturday night. They were pretty busy but service was fine. After looking over the menu the majority of sushi is baked or fried. They have a few raw rolls but nothing that looked as tempting as the burgers! I was swayed by the seasonal BASH Gobbler. This turkey burger had a stuffing bun and all the trimmings (the spicy cranberry sauce was the star of the show!). Wow was it good!! I went for truffle fries and the flavor was pretty subdued. The flavor was in the aioli and it was not very strong. My bf ordered the PB&J burger (no sriracha) and added bacon and a pretzel bun at the recommendation of the server. He loved it and I was skeptical but we swapped 1/4 of our burgers and I tried it. I would absolutely order this! It was great. We also had two cocktails and the Thai donuts for dessert and it was about $60. A great deal! Glad to hear there is another location near us because we can visit that one regularly.

I had such a wonderful experience at BASH! I sat at the sushi table bar and I LOVED the guys there! They were so friendly and fun to talk to. Food was amazing and probably the best sushi I've had in a while. One of the men made me something to try for free and it was soooo good!! Everything was presented beautifully and tasted phenomenal! Will definitely come back here next time I'm visiting. I wish I got all their names to put in this review because they deserve the recognition and praise-so if the owner/managers are reading this, GREAT job picking such a great team. I know the sous chef was there and he was wonderful too! Highly recommend coming to BASH in Ottawa.
